About the Event
The American Freedom Foundation will host Warriors To The Workforce National Harbor (WTTW) presented in association with Easter Seals Veteran Staffing Network and in conjunction with the Air Force Association's 2018 Air, Space and Cyber Conference on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD in the National Harbor Conference Room #10 from 0900 - 1400.  This one of a kind event is part of the American Freedom Foundation’s nationwide initiative to help our Veterans, transitioning military service members and military spouses find meaningful employment.  The event brings together major companies from throughout the country to profile their services and provide employment opportunities for the attendees.  Attendees have the chance to talk with employers, submit qualifications, participate in job interviews, have their resumes reviewed and participate in a rotating schedule of professional development workshops led by subject matter experts on transition from military to civilian life.

  • WTTW is located in National Harbor Conference Room #10
  • Be prepared to meet employers - research participating companies
  • Dress for success - business or uniform is advised
  • Bring enough resumes for all exhibitors - Govt and private sector
  • Registration will open at 0830 and event begins at 0900
  • Please note:  All data collected on your WTTW event registration form will not be sold or given to anyone other than possibly another highly reputable Veteran Service Organization that we feel may help you achieve employment or a better understanding of the transition process from military to civilian life.

About Easter Seals' Veteran Staffing Network (VSN) 
In 1933  a group of physicians, therapists, teachers and civic-minded individuals banned together to create new opportunities for children with disabilities in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. The result of their efforts was the founding of the D.C. Society for Crippled Children, today known as Easter Seals Serving DC | MD | VAToday, Easter Seals Serving DC | MD | VA reaches tens of thousands of children and adults throughout the region. One thing that has remained at the forefront through the years is the mission of Easter Seals; "provides exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs, including military, wounded warriors, Veterans and their families, have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities."  The Veterans Staffing Network (VSN) functions as a full-service staffing agency (temp, temp-to-perm, direct hire) placing Veterans, military spouses, National Guard and Reservists, and wounded warriors. Revenues from placement fees are invested to provide crucial support services for Veterans, wounded warriors and their families such aMilitary Family Respite ProgramHomeless Veterans Reintegration Programs, Family Caregiver TrainingLittle Warriors Child Development Program and others.
