About the Event
The American Freedom Foundation will host Warriors To The Workforce Atlanta presented in association with Still Serving Veterans in conjunction with AAAA's 2016 Army Aviation Mission Solutions Summit on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 1100 - 1700 and  Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 1100 - 1500 at the Georgia World Congress Center - Booth #2155 in Atlanta, GA.  This one of a kind event is part of the American Freedom Foundation’s nationwide initiative to help veterans find jobs.  The event will bring together major companies from throughout the country to profile their services and provide employment opportunities for our veterans.  Attending veterans will have the chance to talk with employers and submit qualifications.

 
In addition to the hiring event, Warriors To The Workforce will include Workshops featuring some of the top speakers in the country.  Workshops will provide resources and information for veterans, transitioning military service members and military spouses to help them better transition to civilian life.  Presentations will include subjects such as mental readiness, confidence building, networking and presentation skills, resume writing, interviewing techniques, job searching, career planning through goal setting, translating military skills and training into civilian life and corporate experience, among others.  

Also, there will be a whole area at the event devoted to Resume Review.  Please stop by this section to be sure you are on track with you resume!

Facts about AAAA's 2016 Army Aviation Mission Solutions Summit:
The Summit Networking consists of informative General Sessions, Deep Dives, Leader Q&A, panel discussions, and one-on-one meetings with PMs and Human Resources Command .
  • In addition,15 outstanding Army Aviation individuals and units are recognized each year as Soldier of the Year, Unit of the Year etc.
  • Three new members of the Army Aviation Hall of Fame will be inducted.
