A panel of Veterans who have recently and successfully navigated the civilian job search will share their strategies, challenges, and lessons learned.  They will also provide insights into what they would do differently and how they took care of themselves during what can be a very unnerving time.  This is candid feedback from those who have gone before and landed well.

Topic:  “Navigating The Cultural Divide”
Civilian culture differs from the military culture in many key ways and cultural fit is a major concern for both Veterans and employers.  Knowing what to look for before accepting a position and then, once hired, adjusting to the cultural rules of engagement are sometimes stumbling blocks for Veterans.  An experienced panel of Veterans who have successfully found their place in the civilian workplace will describe their challenges and share their recommendations/lessons learned.
